We went out onto the sunny streets of London town to ask young men how they felt when they donned the shades.
Anthony, 29: “They have an Easy Rider thing going on – Dennis Hopper. But I can see Jay Z wearing them too.”
Dan, 25: “I feel like I’m much more important than I am.”
Fred, 23: “I am preparing to compete for the World Waterflume speed record in California. I’m probably wearing orange Speedos and a Hawaiian shirt.”
Leigh, 22: “If the Goblin King - David Bowie’s character in Labyrinth - had a son, I’d be him. The goblin prince. Kinda freaky – in a good way!”
Rob, 23: “I feel like Rocket Man. Jetted back to 1972, driving a classic car with a wood dash round Edinburgh. Super flash, super cool.”
JP, 24: “I am paranoid.”
Paul, 16: “Pretty groovy – late ‘60s, early ‘70s. Hunter S. Thompson. Fear and Loathing.”
Richard. 18: “I’d be on the Big Bang theory – kind of geeky. I’d be wearing ankle swingers and doing a science experiment. I can imagine Hot Chip wearing these.”
Vyelle, 25: “I feel like Alex in the Clockwork Orange. The bit when they hold his eyes open. Trippy!”
