Space: The final frontier
These are the voyages of the Topman Enterprise.
Its yearly mission,
To explore strange new worlds,
To seek out new trends and new fashion tribes,
To boldly go where no man has gone before…

Where astronaut meets jungle man, this trend is all about pushing new boundaries. If you’re stuck in a skinny jeans and tartan-shirt style rut, push past the cowboys and explore the rough and ready jungle territories of parkas and combats. If you’re not into the jungle-thing, why not delve into history and sample some Aztec graphics. Bring it into ’08 by wearing it on new-tech fabric.

Fuse prep with sport casual to unlock this trend, but whatever you do, be brave – it’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.

OK, enough space clichés now – watch the animation and click through to Topman to shop.

ACADEMIC

Part geeky, part prep, this trend is all about boat-chic and satchel-cool. Think punting on the Cam, 1920s jazz clubs and more champagne than you can shake a polo club at.

Lost Boys

Summer rolls round again, and with it a more whimsical spirit. Lose yourself in daydreams and doodle away your time. Pick up your picnic blanket, chew some straw and get back to the cornfields. It's retro, homely and carefree.
